I can't connect to the PIVOT Yoga Wi-Fi network

Your clothes act like a Wi-Fi network. Each set of clothes comes with a unique Wi-Fi network name, which can be found on the right hand inside flap of the box that your clothes arrived in. The network name will always appear as  "PIVOT Yoga XXXXXX", where the X's are replaced with a unique id for your clothes.

Once your clothes are fully charged, your clothes will be listed as a Wi-Fi network in the Wi-Fi Settings of your phone. And after you connect the first time, your phone should automatically recognize your clothes whenever you next log into the PIVOT Yoga app (just like using your home Wi-Fi network.)

But what happens if you open up your Wi-Fi settings and don't see your clothes listed?  There could be several explanations.

  1. Your clothes may still be asleep. Since your clothes don't feature a power button, we rely on movement to know when you are using the clothes. Try moving around in the clothes to activate them.
  2. Try turning your Wi-Fi off and then on again to reset. Every now and then a little digital kick in the tires helps.
  3. If that doesn't work, it’s likely that the batteries on your clothes need a full recharge. Test this by charging your clothes. If you see an orange blinking light in the charging units that are embedded in the clothes, that means the batteries were low and are now actively charging. However, if the light is green, that means the clothes are already fully charged and ready to go. For directions on properly charging your clothes, check out our "How do I charge my clothes?" help article located here.
  4. If you continue to have this problem even when the clothes are fully charged, then either your Wi-Fi environment is too crowded or you may have a hardware malfunction. Contact us and we'll take it from there: help@pivot.yoga
